OUR STORY
Tiffany Britton, also known as the illustrious @punchdown_princess, is a force of nature in the wine world. From the sun-kissed vineyards to the gleaming glass, she's wrangled every aspect of wine production. Then there's Eric Williams, a man who, by day, navigates the crafty seas of supply sales, and by night, can often be found in spirited (and sometimes frothy) reunions with his old rugby pals. He's also, I'll admit, a bit of a beer-loving wine snob.
Our paths, like perfectly aged merlot and a crisp IPA, intertwined in 2020. When the world shifted and Tiffany's professional trajectory veered from her beloved wine obsession, a spark ignited. "Why not us?" we thought, and thus, Brainstorm Cellars was born!
Our mission is simple: to revolutionize the wine experience. We believe wine should be fun, approachable, and undeniably delicious. So, leave your fancy-pants notions and highfalutin ideas about wine at the door – we're here to shake things up!
In the true spirit of collaboration, and to truly showcase the magnificent bounty of Washington State's vineyards, Brainstorm Cellars thoughtfully sources grapes from different vineyards each vintage. Our production is, shall we say, boutique – a cozy 200 cases a vintage. Along this incredible journey, we've had the immense pleasure of collaborating with many cherished colleagues, borrowing space, equipment, and invaluable time from other wineries. The outpouring of help and mentorship from professionals in the industry has been nothing short of amazing, and thanks to this incredible support, our growth has been wonderfully strong.
We're also true hands-on enthusiasts! We self-distribute, bringing our wines to local breweries, pubs, and golf courses, as well as directly to you through our website and our burgeoning wine club. We hand-bottle every single one, and we handle all our own compliance, run our website, and manage our social media. It's a colossal amount of work, but honestly, it's made infinitely easier and so much more enjoyable with the unwavering support of our friends, family, community, and, of course, a healthy dose of fun!
